Blue Building Contractors were appointed to undertake the replacement of a failed retaining wall and access steps at Windmills Primary School during the Summer 2024 holiday period.
The project involved extensive groundworks, excavation, retaining wall construction, brickwork, and the installation of new access steps and handrails. All works were carefully planned and completed during the school's summer shutdown period to ensure the site was ready for the start of the new academic year.
Originally programmed for 10 weeks, the project was successfully completed within the six-week summer break and delivered within budget.
